All Together Therapy are proud to host Race Running events in Port Macquarie from 2022.  We had a great turn out at the most recent event held at the Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium with children of all ages attending to trial these lightweight, aluminium framed Race runners.
What a fun event we had with Now I Can Run NSW! Thanks so much Dejay Medical and Now I Can Run for supplying the racerunners! We have loved supporting this group and can’t wait to see more!
The Race Runner running frame is designed for use by individuals challenged with balance, range of motion and mobility resulting from cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, stroke, or amputation, for example.
  • Athletes use running frames to compete in the sport of Race Running, which is an internationally recognised disability sport.
  • Despite significant physical challenges, most athletes can propel themselves on the Race Runner considerably faster than they can move unassisted. The low center of gravity and frame design offers stability and poise while running or walking. The saddle unit counteracts lateral sway and can also be used as a seat when at rest.
  • The Race Runner frame rolls so freely that even someone who is restricted to a wheelchair can propel themselves by their own efforts

Now I Can Run inc (NICaR) was established to provide an avenue for people with Cerebral Palsy (CP) in Australia to further participate in sport including (but not limited to);

  • giving greater awareness to, and educating people on the capabilities of those with CP
  • educating people on the advantages of Race running
  • helping young people gain increased fitness and mobility through Race running
  • helping improve the social-ability of Race running participants
  • helping aspiring athletes become involved with the sport
  • helping integrate Race running athletes into Little Athletics Clubs where available
  • raising funds to provide Racerunners to those unable to afford them/ or that do not qualify for an NDIS funded frame
